Moore was making contrast of 1st World America not able to take care of its citizens and Cuba which does.

This movie made me seriously reconsider going abroad again. seriously for my parents, and family, and for me too.

Universal Health Care .. I was hoping for Moore to have detailed as well the abuses of it. Though I am also in accordance of it.rmacapobrehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13884102161023123944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11893358.post-20510244253560892922007-07-18T18:25:00.000+08:002007-07-18T18:25:00.000+08:00Yes, it was quite hard for me to dislike the movie...Yes, it was quite hard for me to dislike the movie because I know Michael Moore had good intentions on reforming the broken health care system.

I think the net result of this movie is positive and I hope they make some changes to make health care more 'freely' accessible. I just wish they did away from some of the misleading parts (the Cuba, France segments) as it was unnecessary to promote the message and might even turn some people off.robdelacruzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11573869596136802745noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11893358.post-86876616842552154802007-07-14T06:13:00.000+08:002007-07-14T06:13:00.000+08:00I had trouble writing a comment for this review. ...I had trouble writing a comment for this review. Because for one the movie to me meant so much as it opened my eyes to what's really happening in the health care industry of the US.

Sure it was one sided. I agree. But I can look past that and see that side that regular people are not privy to.

The movie also made me realize how close (it was closer thanthis) my insurance came to wiggling out of their duty to pay for an emergency surgery I had. They made out these technical jargon and I was confused by it, and didn't know what to do. But some fortune invalidated their claim. My previous insurance (from my previous employer) was still active. Had my previous employer stopped my insurance the day I left them, I would have paid the whole $23,000 bill for my surgery.

That amount is insane. I was lucky. I work to make good enough money to be able to afford that after working for years. But how about the regular folks who don't work in the IT industry. Especially if they have 2 kids, and have a mortgage... That's insane...

The US needs to change to "socialized" health care similar to Canada, France or Britain.

Stop non-sense wars that use up tax payers money. As an american tax payer, it's a waste of resources when we could be giving people here free and universal healthcare.chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05337956762541185532noreply@blogger.com
